Rick grew up in Durango, Colorado as part of a fourth generation Durango family. He moved to Jackson Hole in the winter of 1988-89. Married to Hollee Armstrong in 1998 who is his best friend and amazing business partner.
Rick is a world renowned skier and is rated by Powder magazine as “One of the top 50 skiers in North America”.
He is a recognized industry insider and consultant to the largest outdoor clothing company in the world – The North Face. He has been featured in more than 50 ski movies and television shows with his likeness having been seen on ads across the globe, including the big screens in Times Square.
In 2004 he was nominated and declared “Jackson Hole Business Person of the Year”. He has conceptualized and been part of multiple businesses including Teton Gravity Research and YogaToday.com. His interests include paragliding, mountain biking, and business. He sees the future full of fun and great times with his two daughters, Ellie Snow and Marebelle Armstrong.
He was once nominated for a “Prime-Time Emmy”.
Rick’s Story
I have always known that real estate is a great avenue for building a future and security. I was inspired from my rancher grandfather’s words – “There is always going to be more people but there is never going to be more land”. I have found that to be a very true statement when we look at Jackson Hole.
My philosophy, when it comes to real estate and my clients, is a simple one. I want every one of my clients to be successful and whatever I can do to help you achieve your goals – I will do it. You will be given every piece of information and given every advantage that I can give you. I will contact you when anything of interest comes on my radar. I will give you my honest opinion – good or bad. I will dig to find you what you are looking for. Beyond that, all of my clients end up being great friends and I truly enjoy getting to know you better and sharing this incredible valley with you.
I don’t try to sell Jackson Hole – I let it sell itself. I just take you to places that you wouldn’t find and I introduce you to the people that make this Valley tick. I make sure that you know where to go and what to do, where to get a local style breakfast or a five star meal, where to take your kids, etc.
